Foreword

by Dr. Ata Ur Rahim Bajwa

The  motivation  behind  this  effort  was to compile the whole information we got from our experience for creating  awareness  among  the  juniors regarding electives in USA, which is lacking in KEMU and majority of medical colleges in Pakistan. It will  give them valuable guidance, so that  they  dont  have  to start from  scratch. I think this website  will go a  long  way in  helping the  juniors  and they will  find it very valuable.
I  would  like  to  congratulate  Umar  on  a  wonderful  job done, as he  has made  an  excellent  use  of his  capabilities  by  putting  such a  useful  information  online  which is  now  accessible  to  all  the  students  wherever  they  are.
Not many have gone on to do things  like  these  only  for  the  sake  of   junior students, and  I  must  give  him  full  credit  for completing a  very hectic but healthy and long serving  project. I think it will also serve as food  for  thought for all the other seniors, to think about their juniors and help them in someway or the other.

I am a Medical Recruiter in Canada and I wanted to make contact with IMG's who are finishing their USA  residencies in June 2010 and may be interested in working in Ontario.

It is now possible for physicians who graduated from medical schools outside CANADA and USA to practise in  Ontario without writing Canadian board examinations.
